Weapons in Sword of Mana

Weapons are wielded by the protagonists of Sword of Mana. In the Hero's story, he starts with a sword, while in the Heroine's story, she starts with a staff. Both will acquire other equipment during the course of the journey, though swords remain exclusive to the Hero, while staves remain exclusive to the Heroine.

Like with armor, in order to make a new weapon, it is necessary to forge it with Watts in a Hot House, using raw material items collected during the journey. It's the only place where new weapons can be forged, since other blacksmiths only do the tempering. However, the raw materials required for forging and tempering are the same.

This is a list of all the available weapons in Sword of Mana.

Legend

  • Price: Total Lucre cost for a single tempering or forging.
  • Extra Effect: Shows which status aliment the current tempering or forging will add on to your attack.
  • Elem.: Shows which spirit will be added onto your weapon, determining its elemental power.
  • Power: The attack power of the Weapon.
  • Dodge: How well you can avoid attacks with this weapon equipped.
  • Hit: The chance of the weapon hitting. The higher the better. This value is not percentage-based, so, for example, a Hit value of 15 does not indicate 15%.
  • Elem. Power: The elemental power of the weapon.
  • Forge Limit: How many times the weapon can be forged total. Once this value reaches zero, the weapon cannot be tempered any further, and a new weapon will need to be created in order to make additional modifications to the same weapon type.
