Welcome, one and all, to the inaugural blog post for the Wiki of Mana!

Let’s just say I’d like to put that option out there for users both new and old. Give folks a little insight into my work here, and maybe they will want to open up, too.

Some see this series of games as the proverbial red headed step child that nobody wants to deal with. And let’s be honest: we haven’t seen a lot of activity in years. A big part of that, I think, was that nobody had the controls for the longest time. I’m just grateful to have a few guys who know what they’re doing and are eager to help as they are able to.

But we need more. More souls brave enough to rise into the Manaverse, high above the clouds. More folks who know of Final Fantasy Adventure and all of its daughters. Not just Secret of Mana, or Sword of Mana, or The Game Formerly Known as Seiken Densetsu 3, but every piece of it. Every Dawn, every Hero, and every Child of it. We need you.

Once we have the information we need, we can turn our focus to other things, like getting rid of this puke green color scheme. The world of Mana is lush, vibrant, and full of color. I don’t know about you guys, but I would want the wiki to reflect that.

And to top it off, I’m more of a writer than a coder, so I want to hear from you what direction you want this project to take. Not to say that I don’t have my ideas. Truly, this is a project by fans and for fans of the Mana series.

Let me know what you think in the comment space. Let’s get to work.
