The Flames (焔城 Homurajō, lit. Flame Castle) is a Land from Legend of Mana. A dark palace engulfed by infernal fires, it is the domain of Drakonis and the symbol of his dangerous urge to return to the surface world. The climax of the Dragoon Story Arc takes place here.
The map cannot be left once it is entered. Once the Flames is cleared, it transforms back into the Underworld, and thus cannot be visited again.

The Crimson Dragon[]
After the defeat of Larc, Drakonis raises his castle out of the Underworld to go after his plans of dominating the surface world. Sierra and the Hero/Heroine go for his fall, leaving the castle immediatelly as soon as it starts falling after Drakonis' defeat.

Trivia[]
- Alongside Lucemia and Bejeweled City, The Flames is one of the three main story arc special lands, the former two belonging to the Faeries Arc and Jumi Arc respectively.
- The Flames and Lucemia are the only lands that cannot be visited again upon completion.
- The Flames is the only Land that directly generates from within another land, and no artifact.
