- Thaydol is formed from Zable Fahr and Dolan, two of the Benevodons found in Seiken Densetsu 3.
- Thaydol's design is similar to that of the Ninja Megazord from the Super Sentai franchise. The mecha upon which it may be based was introduced in the third season of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers when adapted for the West.
