Stats in Adventures of Mana

Stats or Statistics are an important game mechanic in Adventures of Mana.

Like most role-playing games, statistics in Adventures of Mana are tied to player character's performance in various tasks, such as dealing damage to enemies and defending against opponents attacks. Stats can be affected permanently by equipment or temporarily by consuming some items.

The four customizable stats are Vitality, Strength, Intellect and Mind. Their growth can be influenced by the training regimen screen that appears each time Sumo levels up.

Description

• Level or Lv (L in Final Fantasy Adventure) shows the current level Sumo is at. he starts at level 1 and can grow up to level 99.
• (Good) shows the current status condition of Sumo. Good is the normal healthy status. It can change to (Poison), (Moogle), (Stone) or (Darkness) depending on certain enemy attacks.
• Experience or EXP (E in Final Fantasy Adventure) shows the current acquired experience vs the experience needed to reach next level.
• Gold Pieces or GP show the current amount of money Sumo has.

• Hit Points or HP are the current / maximal numerical value of damage Sumo can take before dying and getting a game over.
• Magic Points or MP are the current / maximal numerical value of magic Sumo can use to cast spells.
• Attack or ATK (Attack Power or AP in Final Fantasy Adventure) determines the amount of damage Sumo can deal to an enemy.
• Defense or DEF (Defense Power or DP in Final Fantasy Adventure) determines the amount of damage Sumo can take from enemy attack.

• Vitality or VIT (Stamina in Final Fantasy Adventure) influences Sumo's max HP, defense, strength and mind stats.
• Strength or STR (Power in Final Fantasy Adventure) influences Sumo's attack, vitality and intellect stats.
• Intellect or INT (Wisdom in Final Fantasy Adventure) influences Sumo's max MP, magical attack power, vitality and mind stats.
• Mind or MND (Will in Final Fantasy Adventure) influences Sumo's mind gauge to fill up quicker and stamina stat.
