History

Opening - Hawkeye

The Nevarl thieves' guild operates by night on word that an obscenely wealthy desert merchant resides here in Sirhtan with his ill-gotten gains by his bedside. Hawkeye closes in on the alleged hoard and successfully raids it while its owner has dozed off. The rich man, however, is soon to come around and catches a glimpse of the bandits as they retreat. He can only growl and bellow to the winds as his assailants vanish.

Little does the band of brothers know that this particular raid will be their last.

Chapter III

Sirthan is revisited during the search for elemental spirits.

During the day in SNES version, the merchant Hawkeye robbed can be found in the streets. If Hawkeye is in the party, the man wonders if they met before but shrugs it off and excuses himself to continue his work. If spoken to in his house, his wife explains her husband had a change of mind shortly after burglars broke in and committed to working hard daily.
