SS Buccaneer (海賊船バルド Kaizoku-sen Barudo, lit. Pirate Ship Baldo) is a Land from Legend of Mana. An enormous ship set asail to the sea, it is home to Cap'n Tusk and the Pirate Penguins, who travel the entirety of Fa'Diel in search of preciosities and anything that could pamper them. Here, the player is capable of giving directions to the ship's sailsman, Ramtieger.

Pirate Penguins' Arc[]
The Quiet Sea[]
By giving Ramtieger the following directions: south, east, east, the Hero/Heroine will be told the wind has stopped and thus this event begins.
One Penguin finds a sealed bottle while fishing. Upon opening it, it releases a ghost that starts roaming the ship. All penguins, including the one who fished the bottle, will be terrified, with most of them fainting or hiding. Cap'n Tusk will then ask the Hero/Heroine's help to find the bottle.
The penguin holding it will be found in one of the low levels of the ship. He will only come out if he's told that a "Pretty's girl is here!". After retrieving the bottle, a penguin will ask for the Hero/Heroine to defeat the ghost, now in the form of Gova.
After defeating it, Cap'n Tusk may reward the Hero/Heroine with a metal, the Frozen Heart AF and a Pincher Crab.
The Treasure Map[]
By giving Ramtieger the following directions: north, north, east, the Hero/Heroine will be called to the cabin of Cap'n Tusk. There, he tells the Hero/Heroine about a treasure within the Mekiv Caverns, and will ask them for their help on finding it.
The Nordic Snowfield[]
By giving Ramtieger the following directions: south, south, west, the Hero/Heroine will be called to the cabin of Cap'n Tusk. There, he tells the Hero/Heroine about a treasure within the Fieg Snowfields, and will ask them for their help on finding it.
Sirens and Gilbert's Arc[]
Gilbert: Love is Blind[]
Gilbert takes Elle to the SS Buccaneer after seeing it sail from the beach. He asks her to sing, to which she resists, as her singing may sink the ship. Gilbert responds that a siren must sing, as if they do not, their wings will wither.
At Cap'n Tusk's deck, a penguin will ask him why did he let "a horse" aboard the ship, to which he responds that he plans to sell both the "horse" and the siren to a millionaire.
Later, Gilbert is subdued by the penguins, as a flying Elle cries to the them to free him. As they do not obey her plea, she then lands and starts singing, collapsing the ship. Desperate, the penguins start spinning around, and one of them asks for the Hero/Heroine's help to defeat an Orc that has invaded the ship. After it's defeat, Gilbert is then freed.
Bud and Lisa's Arc[]
Li'l Cactus[]
After Brownie tells the Hero/Heroine about finding a cure for her illness within David, he tells them Li'l Cactus has passed by and he already gave the potion to him.
