The Monster Corral is an area of Home where Pets can be managed.

The Monster Corral itself is an outdoor area with fencing and a barn. Pets set to Grazing are visible in the grassy area within the fencing. They can be interacted with to pet them to learn about their current personality traits (which influence the Pet's A.I.), take them along, or send them to the Monster Barn.

Monster Barn[]

Entering the barn brings up the Monster Barn interface. Here, Pets can be taken along, left behind, assigned up to 3 items of Produce or Meat in their Feed Box, set to Grazing, or in the Japanese and remastered versions, sent to the Ring Ring Land Sony PocketStation minigame. Encyclopedias can also be accessed here and Pets can also be sold.

Graze[]

Grazing allows a Pet to slowly accumulate experience points as the player plays.

EXP gained during Grazing is 1/8 of the value of each EXP crystal the player picks up, rounded down. Picking up any EXP crystal with a value less than 8 will grant 0 EXP to the Grazing Pets. This means early on, Pets may not gain any EXP at all except from boss battles. Once the player is to a point where small EXP crystals have a value of 8 or higher, it will translate into EXP gains for those Pets that are Grazing from even normal battles.

Feed[]

Up to 3 items of Meat and/or Produce can be placed in the Feed Box for each Pet, but once placed, they cannot be removed. Upon levelling up, the Pet will eat everything designated in their Feed Box for the associated stat bonuses. This occurs even if the Pet is with the player in the field. If the Pet levels up more than once, they will miss out on any potential bonuses that could have been gained for that level if the Feed Box had been populated.

Sell[]

Pets can be sold to earn money and free up slots to make way for new Pets. Choosing to sell a Pet will cause Jennifer to enter and assess the Pet for a value and pay the player the suggested price. Naturally, stronger Pets sell for more. This action cannot be undone.

Ring Ring Land[]

Ring Ring Land is a minigame originally playable in the Japanese version on the Sony PocketStation memory card and released worldwide for the Sony PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam remaster. It serves as an alternative means of training a Pet and collecting items.
