Metal Crab is a boss in Final Fantasy Adventure and Adventures of Mana.

Strategy

The Metal Crab is surprisingly quick, though it is not a match for the Were-Buster obtained from the Old Mansion. When thrown in the original version, it will pass completely through the monster's plating and should make fairly quick work of it as it only moves side-to-side.

For the remake, the player should note that the crustacean's range has expanded to cover the entire arena, making it harder to predict where it will land. Worse still, Metal Crab's jointed legs are indeed metallic this time around and therefore impervious to direct attack. Its midsection is its weak spot; so Sumo should attack from the front or the rear once he finds an opening.
