Trials of Mana[]

Silver Mana Statue SD3

Ag (ToM)

Mana Statues were introduced in the 1995 version as a way for players to save their progress. Icons come in two different varieties: silver and gold.

Silver Mana statues only allow players to save their game while gold statues grant an additional full HP and MP recovery upon interaction. Near the end of the game, all Mana statues become decapitated with both of their arms severed.

There is also a special Mana statue located in the Sanctuary of Mana that allows characters to get promoted to Class 3 (and Class 4 in the 2020 remake) provided they have the prerequisite items.

Sword of Mana[]

The mana statues reappear in sword of mana, in this game there are two versions of them. One is the golden version in which it appears in one piece, which allows the player to recover full HP and MP when touching it, in addition to saving the game; the other is it gray version missing her head and an arm, and with pieces of it around it, which only allows the player to save the game.

Echoes of Mana[]

Mana statues typically appear in battlefields just before fighting a major boss in select quests. Simply touching one of these revives and restores all allies in the current party.
