Wiki of Mana

The Machine Golem R is a boss in Trials of Mana. Two are fought on the bridge between Stonesplit Gap and Molebear Moors.

Strategy[]

The two Machine Golems can be a pretty tough fight. Their normal attacks hit for moderately high damage, and their Rocket Launcher attack can do up to 100 damage to a single party member; unless they are at full health, there's really not much to do about this. The player can either attempt to revive a fallen party member (and will probably have enough Cups of Wishes to do so in the remake), or continue the battle without him/her. Either way, only Angela and Charlotte have the ability to cast magic at this point. Charlotte should use Healing Light as needed while Angela tosses Holy Bolt to one golem at a time. For the rest of the party, the player should focus physical attacks on one golem at a time and throw healing items as needed. There will be precious little room to move about, but isolating each attacker will help speed the battle to victory.
