Hinna is a major character of Visions of Mana. She is Val's childhood friend and love-interest from the Fire Village of Tianeea, and a powerful mage who is chosen as the Alm of Fire.
She is voiced in Japanese by Yui Ishikawa and in English by Anairis QuiƱones.
Personality[]
Hinna is gentle, caring and sweet, but fierce and passionate. She is very upbeat and happy, almost always smiling, and enjoys teasing Val. Having read as much as she could about the world, she is very enthusiastic in exploring it and discovering it.

While devoted to her role as an alm, she hides a melancholic side, as she starts second-guessing her duty and desiring instead to build a future with Val, whom she loves romantically.
As such, she is very interested when learning of a time long past when alms were not needed and wonders if it could be restarted.
Powers and Abilities[]
Hinna is a very powerful mage, learned and skilled with magic. She specializes in Healing and Support spells.
Role in the Story[]
Hinna travels with Val as her Soul Guard, Hinna departs for her pilgrimage towards the Mana Sanctuary. She serves as a support characters.
Hinna travels along Val as they befriend Eoren after leaving Tianeea. They recruit Careena as the Alm of Wind, Morley as the Alm of the Moon, and Palamena as the Alm of Water. Alas, her travel is cut short when she is sacrificed by Eoren, who promises her to lift her burden as an alm and enable her to build a future with Val, only to sacrifice her and turn her to a Corestone.
At the end of the game, her soul appears under the Tree of Mana, welcoming that of Val who just died of old age, peacefully surrounded by his loved one, and he proceeds to tell her all the stories of his restoration of Qi'Diel back into Fa'Diel.
