Golems or Machine Golems are a type of follower and enemy encountered in Legend of Mana. Players have the ability to create up to three Golems in the Workshops once the Golem Laboratory is unlocked.
Basic Construction[]
To construct a Golem, at least one weapon is required. Additionally, up to three pieces of armor can be incorporated into its basic structure. The number of armor pieces used determines the size of the logic grid and influences the failure rate of commands. The materials and types of equipment used also affect other parameters.
Logic Blocks[]
Logic blocks are crafted from various equipment such as weapons, armor, and instruments. Combining two pieces of equipment produces one logic block. These blocks come in eleven different shapes and are placed within the logic grid to establish a logical flow based on distance and the Golem's action gauge. This adds a Tetris-like aspect to programming the Golem.
Coloring[]
Players have the option to use Produce to color their Golems. However, this effect is purely aesthetic and optional.
Discarding[]
If desired, a player can disassemble a Golem into its component equipment to recover the items.
