The Goblin is a recurring enemy in the Mana series.
They first debuted in Final Fantasy Adventure.
Physical Description[]
These yellow-headed humanoids with short stature, pointed ears, and small fangs are often among the weakest of enemies where they appear. They always wear a green and purple uniform with gloves and pointy shoes of green color, usually wielding axes.
Affinities[]
Goblins are usually resistant to Gnome and weak to Sylphid/Jinn though those can vary depending on the game. Equally as often, goblins tend to be narcoleptic creatures. Yet these traits are deceptive, as goblins are also proficient attackers from short distances as well as close-range with a hand axe at the ready. Some species can speak the common tongue, albeit crudely. Humans tend to be their favorite meal nonetheless, as when Randi is captured and nearly eaten by a band of the beasts in Secret of Mana.
