The Flammie Drum (also known as the Wind Drum in the fan-dubbed Trials of Mana) is a recurring key item in the Mana series. A favored toy of children and young white dragons, the party can use the Flammie Drum to summon a white dragon and take them to the skies.

Shortly after Flammie is discovered and brought back to Matango, King Truffle begins training him to respond to the drum, which becomes his favorite toy. Eager to meet his adoptive family in the party, Flammie makes a beeline for the Imperial Palace just in time to rescue them. Truffle gives them the drum as they escape the imploding citadel.
Trials of Mana[]
Either Faerie or Riesz manages to persuade a young Flammie to take the party to the Sanctuary of Mana after the portal to it has been opened. As the chosen hero takes up the Mana Sword, the Mana Goddess will give them the drum to call the dragoness at will.
Visions of Mana[]
At a crossroads with the first three Benevodons subdued, Val's convoy ventures to the Mana Tree, where it meets with Khoda, who then explains the six alms' purpose and their next task needed to weaken Daelophos' curse. In so doing, the guardian spirit of the Tree grants Careena's comrade-in-arms, the young Ramcoh, the ability to grow into a full-sized Flammie and gives the convoy the Flammie Drum as a catalyst. While airborne, Ramcoh can land at any marked location in Qi'Diel and drop off at any discovered landmark in a town or open field. When her task is completed, Ramcoh reverts to her original form in order to fight alongside Careena anew.
