Fieg Snowfields (フィーグ雪原 Fīgu setsugen) is a Land from Legend of Mana. A hoarding scenario of pure, blinding white snow, it's distance from society allows it to be a thriving place for mystical folks such as faeries and even snow beasts. It is home to Crystalle.

Can't Look Back[]
Mephianse is found at the start of the map, thinking aloud about his brother, Nakratos. He keeps saying that his brother's wife will not come back to life, and that there is no faerie treasure, to which he reassures to the Hero/Heroine as soon as he is talked to. He also warns the Hero/Heroine to not go further, as they may be frozen by the "Ice Witch", as his brother was.
Later on, he is seem commanding his students to pack their belongings and leave. One student remarks about Mephianse's brother, and asks him if he also wishes to get the treasure so he may see his brother. After reflecting, Mephianse suddenly realizes something and rushes off from the camp.
He is found again arguing with Crystalle, who recalls he had been calling her an ice witch and telling everyone she was responsible for his brother's death. She reassures he is alive, but has been eaten away by the need to survive in the harsh environment of the snowfields, and turned into a snow beast. Mephianse then finally swallows his grief, and wishes for his brother to be reunited with his wife in the Underworld.
After defeating Du'Mere, the turned beast, Crystalle provokes Mephianse, who is clearly depressed.
Pirate Penguins' Arc[]
The Nordic Snowfield[]
The Hero/Heroine arrives immediately after being invited by Cap'n Tusk on a search for the rumored Faerie Treasure. His Pirate Penguins, however, are seen quickly running away at the very start of the map, unable to go on with the severe cold freezing their beaks.
Heading through the snowfields, the Hero/Heroine finds a faerie who tells them about the treasure, and that they may be able to retrieve it if they find the faerie Ehrlang. The treasure is later on revealed to be the Draupnir Ring.
