Ferrik (Flick in the Japanese version) is one of the four protagonists of Children of Mana.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Background[edit | edit source]
Ferrik lives in the Mana Village on Illusia Isle. Like many of the other residents, he lost people precious to him in the Cataclysm that took place ten years before the game begins: in his case, his parents and his older sister. Ferrik himself was saved by a knight.
Little is known about Ferrik's parents; Moti mentions that Ferrik's father was a knight captain in the Holy Infantry of Wendel, and it is from both his father and the knight who saved his life that Ferrik gets his skill with the sword and his inspiration: to be a great knight like his father.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
Ferrik is largely a well balanced fighter with strong average stats overall. Despite this, he is geared towards combat the most having the second highest attack and the third lowest magic ability. His weapon of choice is the sword. He is considered to be one of the best starter characters along with Tamber.
Ferrik starts off getting sword lessons with Moti, well finishing. He then wants to go find and talk to Tess, the tree maiden. Moto tells he not to get in Tess's way because Tess is going to her prayers at the Mana Tower
