Elliot (エリオット, Eriotto^?) is a supporting character in Trials of Mana. He is the son of Joster and Minerva and the younger brother of Riesz. In the Remake, he is voiced by Christie Cate.

Story

Elliot's mother died giving birth to him. Reisz resolved to raise him but was slightly overprotective. At the beginning of her story, Elliot is met by Nevarl's agents Bill and Ben. They gain his trust by using their ninjutsu to pass themselves off as traveling magicians and then convince him to lower the barrier that protects the castle by claiming his mother was on the other side of it. In the resulting confusion Riesz moves to protect her father unaware that her brother tripped behind her and was captured by Bill and Ben. Her quest revolves around searching for him.

The ninjas sell him to a slave merchant in Beiser. But when the reports of Laurent's conquest reach the Dark Majesty, his childhood trauma causes him to see the "pampered little prince" as his opposite and therefore perfect vessel. Malocchio buys him back from the slave merchant and takes him to their lair.

If Dark Majesty is not the final boss, Belladonna will release Elliot before killing herself.

If the Dark Majesty is the final boss, he will take Elliot with him as he heads to the Mana Tree. He then takes over the boy's body and attacks the party, but is defeated and forced out before being destroyed.

At the end of Reisz's path he welcomes her back to Laurent. He reveals he saw their parents in a dream who encouraged him to live strong. He resolves to become a good ruler and rebuild Laurent together with Riesz, which moves her.
