7 Saber Spells in Secret of Mana
The Elemental Saber Spells are a group of spells that are able to bestow elemental damage and/or special effects onto a weapon. They appear in most games of the Mana series.
Flame Saber[]
A spell granted by Salamander, the Mana Spirit of fire. Known as Flamestrike in Children of Mana. Enables the weapon to deal fire damage and may set them ablaze.
Ice Saber[]
A spell granted by Undine, the Mana Spirit of water. Known as Froststrike in Children of Mana. Enables the weapon to deal water damage and may turn them into a snowman.
Thunder Saber[]
A spell granted by Jinn, the Mana Spirit of wind. Known as Lightningstrike in Children of Mana. Enables the weapon to deal wind damage and may mute or stun enemies.
Stone Saber[]
A spell granted by Gnome, the Mana Spirit of earth. Known as Stonestrike in Children of Mana and Diamond Saber in Seiken Densetsu 3. Enables the weapon to deal earth damage and may turn them into a statue.
Moon Saber[]
A spell granted by Luna, the Mana Spirit of the moon. Enables the weapon to steal HP with each hit.
Leaf Saber[]
A spell granted by Dryad, the Mana Spirit of nature. Enables the weapon to steal MP with each hit. Not applicable in Secret of Mana.
Holy Saber[]
A spell granted by Wisp, the Mana Spirit of light. Known as Light Saber in Secret of Mana and Saint Saber in Seiken Densetsu 3. Enables the weapon to deal light damage.
Dark Saber[]
A spell granted by Shade, the Mana Spirit of darkness. Enables the weapon to deal darkness damage. Not applicable in Secret of Mana.
Mana Magic[]
A spell that only appears in Secret of Mana. When cast on the Mana Sword by both Popoi and Primm, it unlocks the sword's true power. It is a spell granted by Dryad, but it is sealed for most of the game.
