The Cyclops is a boss in Final Fantasy Adventure and its subsequent remakes.
Strategy[]
Sumo should equip the Were-Buster and have Cure on standby. The boss begins by charging toward him, at which point Sumo could get a shot in from behind. Otherwise, he should stay on the move and keep his distance from the onslaught of flail attacks. Wait for it to break off the attack, then line up for a charged axe throw and repeat as needed, taking shorter swings if Sumo can close in. The player should use the Cure spell if Sumo gets below 100 HP. If timed well, the ogre should fall in about 5 minutes. Collect the Morningstar it leaves behind, then recover, save, and move on to the next objective.
