The Chimera is a boss in Final Fantasy Adventure and its subsequent remakes.
Strategy[]
The Chimera is, for the most part, mercifully easier than the previous two bosses Sumo has fought; though it throws large fireballs like the Mind Flayer, they are fairly easy to avoid. The Chimera will spend much of its time hovering around the arena and out of Sumo's melee range, so the player should let it swoop down to attack him before striking back. Once more, swinging the Morningstar should keep the beast at arm's length. The only reward is a path forward to Sumo's next objective.
