Snow Hamlet Alrant, otherwise known as Elrand, is a location in Trials of Mana. It is located east of Altena across the Frostbite Fields.

According to an old man in the town's pub, Alrant used to be under the patronage of queen of Altena, who extended her magic to provide it with warm weather and keep out the cold, similar to Altena. The locals take the growing colds to mean something made Valda abandon them.

Story

Opening - Angela

A mother and daughter have recovered a collapsed Angela from the Frostbite Fields and taken her home to rest. When she comes to, she decides to take a walk to clear her mind. In the pub, Angela meets with an eccentric old woman telling passers-by to go to Holy City Wendel for further guidance. She takes this bizarre proclamation to heart and reflects upon it as she begins her journey.

Chapter III

As the party searches for the last four elementals, they dock on the northern continent in search of Undine, the water spirit. They begin their search in Alrant where Angela can reunite with Chirry if she is in the party.
